The Australian International Counter Slavery Alliance (AICSA) is a newly formed alliance of Australian based international non-government organisations who are working on the ground in the Asia-Pacific region to counter modern slavery and support survivors. Modern slavery refers to situations where individuals are exploited and cannot refuse or leave due to threats, violence, coercion, deception, or abuse of power.
